John Gruber, an Apple watcher, is supporting the statement by adding that the iPad 3 release date will be in September. He also stated in his blog, “Summer feels like a long time away. If my theory is right, they’re not only going to be months behind the iPad 2, but if they slip until late summer, they might bump up against the release of the iPad 3. iPad 3 Features Expectation
  • Retina Display: People were expecting a retina display with the iPad 2; but the iPad disappointed them with the same display of the previous iPad. Now followers are waiting for an iPad 3 with a retina display. There is a rumor that the iPad 3 may offer a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels.

  • Wireless Synchronize: People are expecting iPad 3 to offer wireless sync of content rather than the traditional wired connectivity.

Apple iPhone 5 Release Date 7 September 2011?

http://bit.ly/NewAppleiPhone5 Apple iPhone 5 Release Date might be most buzzing topic among tech geeks. Each day is rising with a new rumor or a speculative guess about iPhone 5 launch date. CNET UK, a top internet review site for electronics, has grabbed attention of the techies posting update on iPhone 5 release date.
http://bit.ly/NewAppleiPhone5
According to CNET UK, iPhone 5 release date is likely to be September 7th 2011. We guess this is the first exact date prediction about launch of the next generation iPhone.

What is the reason behind releasing iPhone 5 in September?

Apple recently announced iOS 5 at WWDC 2011 which is packed with new cool features, including Android's drop-down menu style notification. iOS 5 will be released in the autumn, more specifically in September. Furthermore,

Apple brings new generation iPods and iPod Touches in September. However, according to CNET UK, iPods are not enough glamorous to bring iOS 5 into the world. iOS 5 and iPhone 5 both will be the perfect platforms for each other.

That is the reason why we are expecting to see iPhone 5 release with iOS 5, in the autumn. We already assumed that Apple doesn't want to release iPhone 5 until iOS 5 is completely ready which is somewhat similar to CNET UK's prediction. Here is what we predicted.
http://bit.ly/NewAppleiPhone5

Why CNET UK has assumed Wednesday 7 September 2011 as the iPhone 5 launch date? Since 2005, Apple has been launching iPods in September on the first Wednesday after Labor Day. There were some exceptions in the past, though the Wednesday has proven Apple's a regular favorite day.

Apple stores sell out of 3G iPads in Australia

SOME Apple stores had last night sold out of 3G versions of the iPad, with staff telling customers they did not know when new stock would arrive.

Apple's flagship Sydney store in George Street had hundreds of the iPads with WiFi connectivity but none of the versions that are WiFi and 3G enabled.

The Bondi Junction store, in Sydney's eastern suburbs, had sold out of the 16GB and 32GB iPads with 3G and could only offer the most expensive 64GB version, at $1049, but said stock was fast disappearing.
With the WiFi iPad, users can connect to the internet via wireless networks but the dual WiFi and 3G enabled
iPad - like a mobile phone - can also be used on cellular networks.

The 3G versions cost about $170 more than the iPads with WiFi connectivity only.
Apple declined to provide sales figures last night.
Steve Bardel, the managing director of independent Apple reseller My Mac, which has three stores in Sydney and Melbourne, sold out of the 3G versions on Saturday and expected the WiFi models to be snapped up by tomorrow.

There was bigger demand than anticipated and I really don't know when we will have more stock," Mr Bardel said.

"It has been the biggest couple of days we have had as a company and we have put on more staff and we probably could have used twice as many. Our Melbourne shop probably did one-third of its monthly turnover in one day."

Mr Bardel sold close to 1000 iPads in just two days with customers returning to stock up on accessories, such as carry cases, keyboards and camera connection kits.
The Australian's iPad application was yesterday the most popular local news app in the iTunes store and the third most popular paid app.

For $4.99 a month, iPad subscribers can read The Australian, including real-time news updates. New sections as well as photo galleries and video will be gradually rolled out.
The iPad has spawned an industry of parasite products, with users rushing to purchase custom-made cases.

Apple iPhone 4 is Here

Steve Jobs introduced the iPhone 4 , which he claims offers over 100 new features, though he would focus on only a handful for the keynote. The iPhone 4 looks like the iPhone prototype obtained under questionable circumstances by Gizmodo: stainless steel casing, all-glass front, and a design Jobs describes as the thinnest smartphone on the planet: almost 25 percent thinner than the iPhone 3GS..

Unlike previous iPhones, the iPhone 4 will have volume controls on the side of the phone along with an accessible microSIM tray. The iPhone 4 features a front-facing camera, and the back sports a microphone, 30pin connector for docking, and a speaker, while the top sports a second microphone for noise cancellation, sleep/wake button, and a headset input.

Jobs went on to highlight the bands around the side of the iPhone 4 that caused much speculation in the wake of the leaked prototypes. Jobs identified them as part of the phone’s antenna system, saying the stainless steel band is also a primarily structural element of the device. The antenna supports all the iPhone 4’s wireless capability, from 3G to Wi-Fi to Bluetooth to GPS along with cellular communication.
